This interactive workshop encouraged 10th-grade students to explore the relationship between poetry, art, and the human experience.
Students reflected on themes like nature, time, and the fleeting beauty of life, while discussing poetry’s connection to visual art. They explored Baroque and Classical poetry and engaged in creating an “Exquisite Corpse” as a group, a spontaneous form of artistic collaboration. The workshop inspired creativity, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the ways art and poetry can express emotions and ideas.
